Auslan Classes
Beginner Classes
Classes run every semester.
Our society offers beginner classes taught by Deaf trainers from Signpedia. Each set of classes runs for 8 weeks of the semester and provides an introduction to Auslan (Australian Sign Language). Applications are open to students and staff at the University of Sydney and those connected to the University of Sydney community. If you are not part of the University of Sydney we recommend you go straight to Signpedia or our previous provider Deaf Connect.
To enrol in our classes you must be a USU member. USU membership is free for Univeristy of Sydney students and is open to Univseristy staff and the wider local community.
